SDXMAIL RELEASES FIRST COMPLETELY SECURE WEB-BASED E-MAIL TO USE DIGITAL CERTIFICATES FOR ELECTRONIC SIGNING AND ENCRYPTION

Dallas, TX - SDXmail.com announces the release of its secure, encrypted email service. SDXmail is the first web-based email service to incorporate the use of digital certificates to send and receive encrypted and electronically signed messages and attachments. SDXmail is the answer for reducing the incidents of hacker-tampered email. In a world that is becoming more dependent upon electronic communication, security issues are key.

SDXmail includes a digital certificate with each account. A digital certificate is like an electronic I.D. card that is unique to each user. SDXmail users can "electronically sign" their messages with their digital certificate so that recipients can positively identify the sender, which eliminates the possibility of a hacker impersonating an individual. Electronically signed messages are also tamper-proof, preventing hackers from intercepting and altering a message and sending it on to the user undetected.

SDXmail users can also send and receive encrypted email messages and attachments. SDXmail uses military-grade 128-bit SSL encryption and 1024-bit key encryption. Experts agree that this level of encryption is essentially unbreakable. It has been estimated that the level of encryption used by SDXmail would take a hacker one trillion years to decrypt using current technology. In laymen's terms, our sun will go supernova before the encryption could be broken.

The most unique feature of SDXmail is its interoperability with other email programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Netscape Communicator. Because SDXmail uses digital certificates for signing and encryption, it allows users to communicate securely with those outside the SDXmail system. "The advantage to our system is that it is not based on proprietary technology or a closed system, we use open standards," said Godson Menezes, SDXmail's Chief Technology Officer. "We are the first to use the emerging standard e-mail security protocol, S/MIME in the context of a web-based service, this makes us compatible with most major email programs." To date, all other web-based, encrypted e-mail services use closed systems, which require both sender and recipient to be users of the same system. Needless to say, these closed systems are quickly becoming obsolete due to the limits placed on whom their users can communicate with securely. According to M. John Sterling, SDXmail's General Counsel, "by using standard protocols and including digital certificates for encryption and signing, SDXmail allows users to communicate with anyone, whether they are using SDXmail or another e-mail system."

SDXmail has been designed for professionals with a need for secure electronic communication. Those in the Legal, Healthcare, and Financial Industries are particularly vulnerable to the malicious effects of hackers. In fact, the federal government has passed legislation that will soon require all patient information sent via the Internet to be encrypted and/or electronically signed. If the information routinely transmitted by any of these three industries were intercepted, the results could be disastrous. By using SDXmail's encryption and electronic signature features, sensitive information can be fully authenticated and protected against unauthorized access.

SDXmail is offering a 90-day free trial for a limited time. For more information or to sign up for a new SDXmail account and digital certificate, go to www.SDXmail.com.
